An eye opener

A GUEST LECTURE     S. Parasuraman, 8A

                  On July 2, 2011 (Saturday) our school principal Mr.J.Thanukrishnan had arranged a guest lecture by Mr.K.Srinivasan, Founder of Prime point foundation. The guest lecture started around 9.30 am with the prayers to God. At first, the guest Mr.K.Srinivasan showed us an interview (which was held on 60^th Independence Day) with former president of India ‘Dr.A.P.J.Abdul kalam’.  In that ‘Dr.A.P.J.Abdul kalam’ had given advice to the media and to the students.

Advice to the media:

1. Ensure accuracy of news reporting.                    

2. Reporting real time events.                                      

3. Describe the life of the rural.                                

4. Report progress and problems in our country.

 Advice to the students:                

1. Excel in education.                                                                

2. Plant 5 saplings and grow trees.                                     

3. Clean home to make the neighborhood clean.              

4. Meet great teachers and real life heroes.                                                            

5. Keep your mother happy.                                                   

6. Obey and take care of grandparents and elders.

                         Then he taught us how to write articles and what the basics are, for writing articles.

                    At last the guest lecturer finished the session by saying:
